  • No up-front charge to make a reservation. Simply select Friday, Saturday or Sunday on the calendar below and your desired arrival time and proceed through reservation checkout.

FAQ

Q: What are your tasting room hours?
A: Our tasting room is open Fridays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays & Sundays from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Q: What does a wine tasting include, and how much does it cost?
A: Tastings are $10 per person and include three wines of your choice from our estate-grown lineup.
Wine Club members receive complimentary tastings for themselves and up to three guests (a party of 4 total).

Q: Are kids and pets allowed at the tasting room?
A: Yes—we’re family- and dog-friendly. We have two large grass areas, lawn games, and cornhole for the kids. Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome in our outdoor spaces.

Q: Do you serve food with tastings?
A: Yes! We offer a full lunch menu curated by The Sheldon Inn, with table-side service during all tasting room hours. Our seasonal menu pairs beautifully with our wines and completes your visit.

Q: Can I bring a picnic?
A: No outside food is permitted. However, we offer a full menu of food to enjoy during your visit.

Q: What outdoor amenities do you offer?
A: Our outdoor spaces are designed for comfort in all seasons. We have heaters in the winter, and in the summer we keep things cool with large fans, swamp coolers, a state-of-the-art misting system, plus plenty of shade from patio covers and 14-foot umbrellas.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: Walk-ins are always welcome! However, reservations are recommended for groups of 6 or more so we can provide the best experience with full table-side service.

Q: Do you offer any special tasting experiences?
A: Absolutely! Try our chocolate and wine pairing, featuring Chocolate Silk from The Chocolate Architect. It’s a guest favorite—just ask your server to add it to your experience.

Q: Can you accommodate private events or large groups?
A: Yes! We host private events, weddings, and celebrations for up to 350 guests. To inquire, please contact our Event Coordinator, Yesenia Adams, at yadams@silvassheldoninn.com.

Q: Where are you located and what else is nearby?
A:We’re located at 8980 Grant Line Road in Elk Grove, CA, on the same property as The Sheldon Inn. After wine tasting, enjoy a stroll through our vineyard wedding venue and finish your day with dinner next door.

Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, we offer free on-site parking for all guests.

  • Wine Club Growth: Proactively convert visitors into wine club members—this is the lifeblood of our business. Strong bonus structure tied to performance.

  • First Impressions Matter: Greet each guest warmly, lead guided tours of our tasting room and scenic grounds, and highlight our on-site restaurant. Every first visit should feel like the start of something special.

  • Host & Lead Events: Coordinate wine club pick-up parties and exclusive events, ensuring top-tier experiences from start to finish.

  • Member Engagement: Maintain active communication with club members—answer emails, send updates, and build lasting relationships.

  • Sales & Shipments: Process wine club shipments, track inventory, and hit bottle sales goals.

  • Team Player: Collaborate with tasting room staff and kitchen partners for seamless service.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 21+ years old

  • Weekend availability (Fri 3–8 PM, Sat & Sun 12–6 PM)

  • Outgoing, confident communicator with strong people skills

  • Proven ability to sell—wine, memberships, or experiences

  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking

  • Previous hospitality or wine experience preferred (but not required)

  • Passion for storytelling, wine education, and elevating guest experiences
